Ginny Laukka is the artist and owner of The Inner Artist Studio in Manitowoc, WI.  Her desire to create reaches back to her earliest childhood memories, and after a career path that included architecture and raising two children, she has found a deep sense of curiosity, peace, and flow in oil painting.

Although Ginny first explored art through watercolor, her artistic direction shifted in 2019 at a transformative workshop in Mexico, where she became captivated by the vivid possibilities of oil paint.  Since then she has committed herself to continual growth and is currently immersed in plein air color studies, the understanding of color relativity, and using these tools to capture the beauty that surrounds us.   

Drawing on her love of art and architecture, Ginny created The Inner Artist Studio in 2023, breathing new life into a historic Manitowoc building.  Today, the space serves as her working studio, a versatile gallery, and a welcoming Airbnb.  It's here that both she and her art continue to evolve.
